Stephen Hawking




Stephen Hawking is a famous british theoretical physicist with over 40 years of career. His books made him a member of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and he won the Presidential Medal of Freedom, one of the greatest honors in the USA. Hawking suffers from a neurologic disease called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The symptoms appeared when he was a university student in Cambridge. He just lost his balance and fell. The doctors said he wouldn´t survive more than two or three years. His movements were gradually compromised, but his intellectual capacity is intact and he makes sure everyone knows it with his great achievements.
